Welcome to Tieton Intermediate School Physcial Education!!! The goal of physical education is to develop our students to be physical literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a LIFETIME of healthful physical activity.

Students will participate in many Locomotor skills (running, jumping, etc.) and Manipluative skills (throwing, catching, dribbling, volleying, etc).  This year, students will rotate in the morning every 6 weeks participating in physical education lessons each day of the week.   In the afternoon, ALL students will rotate through a schedule that allows them to work on team building skills, fitness and fast pace activities every other day (4th & 6th grade 15 minutes, 5th grade every third day for 30 minutes).

A Brief Bio

* Graduated from Highland a long, long time ago in an orchard far, far away :) 

* Two daughters; Enjoy outdoor adventures and traveling

- Worked in the Upper Valley fruit industry in the early years.   Ventured forward with the Air Force, Walmart Mgmt., Golfsmith International & wrapping it up in education.

 

  • 3rd Rotation - December / January

    3rd rotation is starting off with a variation of pickleball and handball. Fitness Stations will follow in week 2 and capping off the last week of 2021 will be our annual indoor field goal kicking with a variety of skill activities on the side.

     

    P.M. Brainbreak and Team Building classes will start by participating in Ominkin Ball Pindown, Awana Games Awana and Poison Ball.

    Can you believe it's time to roll back our clocks??   P.E. has moved inside as our weather has cooled off.
