My name is Kim Borland. I am a Highland alumni and graduated in 1999. After high school I attended college at Central Washington University. I am a 4th grade math and science teacher at Tieton Intermediate School. I have been teaching for 13 years. I taught at Outlook Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher for 5 years before I joined Tieton Intermediate School. This is my 8th year teaching at TIS. I also enjoyed coaching high school girls basketball at Selah High School as the junior varsity girls basketball coach. I thouroughly enjoy working with children and all children to be successful. I am committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimuating and encouraging to all students.
I am married to Mr. Borland who also works at Highland School District. I have two young sons who love to play baseball and basketball. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy camping, boating and exercising.
