My name is Melissa Getsinger and I am a graduate of Highland High School.  I have been teaching here for my whole career, since 2000.  I currently teach Special Education but also taught Kindergarten for four years.  I live in Yakima, with my husband and two sons.  My sons also attend school in the Highland School District.  I love to read, cook, and go on walks with my dog, Lulu.
